Chongzhou, Chengdu — September 3, 2026. Chengdu Tianqi Environmental Control Technology Co., Ltd. ("Tianqi Environment") has officially signed an investment agreement with the People's Government of Chongzhou for a new eco-friendly refrigeration equipment project. The signing ceremony, held alongside a government–enterprise roundtable in Chongzhou, marks a strategic milestone in the company's transformation from conventional fluorine-based refrigeration to natural-refrigerant, low-carbon cooling solutions.
The ceremony was attended by Miao Xiaobo, Secretary of the CPC Chongzhou Municipal Committee; Jiang Liwang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Chongzhou Municipal Committee and Acting Mayor; Zhou Chaoyi, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Chongzhou Municipal Committee; as well as Meng Qingpeng, Chairman of Tianqi Environment, and Zhang Yong, Executive Deputy General Manager of the company.
The new project represents Tianqi Environment's strategic commitment to the global "dual carbon" agenda. It will focus on the R&D and manufacturing of next-generation, environmentally responsible refrigeration systems, including:
